Free Instructional Fly Casting Clinic

The Nor’East Chapter of Trout Unlimited is excited to host a FREE Instructional Fly Casting Clinic on Sunday, June 24th. Participants need not be members of TU, so feel free to bring a friend along as an intro to fly fishing.

The clinic will be divided into two sessions. First, the morning session will serve as an opportunity for new fly fishers to learn the basics of fly casting.

At noon, we will break for a free cookout.

The afternoon session will begin at 1pm and provide an opportunity for anglers with a degree of familiarity with casting to work with the instructors on fault-finding and advanced techniques.

Those that wish to fish after the clinic will have access to the Ipswich River Watershed Association Canoes. If you will be fishing, remember to purchase a fishing license in advance.

We ask that if you have access to equipment (rod, reel, line) please bring it along. We will have some equipment on hand, but anticipate a large turnout.
