Nor’East Chapter Trout Unlimited
“To protect, conserve and restore Massachusetts’ North Shore cold water fisheries and their watersheds.”
Our Mission
The Nor’east chapter of Trout Unlimited concerns itself with the coldwater fisheries of Massachusetts North Shore. Habitat conducive to supporting trout species and more specifically native eastern brook trout.

Fishing Local
We will try to make an attempt at letting our Chapter members know where the best fishing is locally. By fishing locally, one reduces their impact on all fishes, everywhere. TU is a conservation organization made up of fishermen. It takes more than catch and release, to make you a conservationist. But catch and release is a good place to start.
Keep Fish Wet!
There is a correct way to land a fish. Visit this web page to learn how to handle fish once they are caught. Click Here.
Shoreline Striper Fishing
Our North of Boston location offers better saltwater fishing than freshwater fishing. Here is a great presentation by Dylan Callahan of Concord Outfitters on fishing from shore with a fly rod and fishing for stripers, bluefish and bonito. It really is good. Click here.

In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.
